L\u2019Agence Roger-Viollet<\/strong> b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un fonds d\u2019archives photographiques compos\u00e9 de plus d\u2019un million de documents<\/strong>. Et bon nombre d\u2019entre eux t\u00e9moignent de l\u2019histoire ferroviaire fran\u00e7aise<\/strong> \u2013 et de celle de la Petite Ceinture de Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans le cadre de sa mission patrimoniale, notre association s\u2019est donc rapproch\u00e9e de la Galerie Roger-Viollet<\/strong>, afin de pouvoir utiliser certains de ses plus beaux clich\u00e9s illustrant la Petite Ceinture ferroviaire de Paris<\/strong>. Ces derniers peuvent d\u2019ailleurs faire l\u2019objet d\u2019un tirage d\u2019art. Voici donc une petite s\u00e9lection de clich\u00e9s<\/strong>, que vous pouvez retrouver au sein des diff\u00e9rents dossiers de notre site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Agence Roger-Viollet : un fonds photographique exceptionnel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Agence Roger-Viollet a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e par H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Roger-Viollet<\/a> et son mari Jean Fisher. Tous deux photographes, ils suivent les premiers cong\u00e9s pay\u00e9s en 1936, ainsi que le d\u00e9but de la guerre civile en Espagne. En 1937, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne collabore avec son p\u00e8re (qui l\u2019a initi\u00e9e \u00e0 la photographie) pour rassembler un large fonds photographique<\/strong> d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux expositions universelles. Elle se lance donc dans une grande \u00ab chasse aux clich\u00e9s \u00bb<\/strong>, afin de compl\u00e9ter la collection de son p\u00e8re. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019en 1938<\/strong>, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Roger-Viollet et son mari fondent leur propre agence photo. Cette derni\u00e8re se sp\u00e9cialise dans l\u2019acquisition d\u2019archives photographiques<\/strong>. L\u2019Agence Roger-Viollet se constitue alors une collection unique au monde<\/strong>, constitu\u00e9e de clich\u00e9s de tr\u00e8s nombreux photographes. Au fil des ans, le fonds contient plusieurs millions de photos<\/strong>. La Petite Ceinture de Paris sous l\u2019\u0153il des photographes de l\u2019Agence Roger-Viollet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Les clich\u00e9s de l\u2019agence Roger-Viollet nous offrent une plong\u00e9e extraordinaire dans la riche histoire ferroviaire de la capitale<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les trains \u00e0 vapeur de la gare Saint-Lazare<\/strong>, de la Bastille<\/strong> ou des Invalides<\/strong>, le \u00ab d\u00e9p\u00f4t \u00e9lectrique \u00bb de la gare du Champ de Mars, un paysage enneig\u00e9 \u00e0 la gare de M\u00e9nilmontant<\/a> ou encore une rame \u00ab Standard \u00bb tutoyant la Tour Eiffel<\/strong>\u2026 Autant de superbes clich\u00e9s \u00e0 (re)d\u00e9couvrir d\u00e8s maintenant dans nos collections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au-del\u00e0 du point de vue purement ferroviaire, ces photos sont remarquables par la quantit\u00e9 de d\u00e9tails <\/strong>qu\u2019il rec\u00e8lent. Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s photographiques de l\u2019\u00e9poque \u2013 et la qualit\u00e9 des num\u00e9risations \u2013 permettent de ressentir l\u2019ambiance<\/strong> dans laquelle ces clich\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 captur\u00e9s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et, de fait, ils repr\u00e9sentent un atout consid\u00e9rable pour nos collections<\/strong>. Il s\u2019agit ici d\u2019un patrimoine photographique, architectural, urbain et ferroviaire absolument exceptionnel<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comment acqu\u00e9rir un tirage de l\u2019une de ces photographies ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La principale mission de la Galerie Roger-Viollet est de valoriser ce fonds photographique<\/strong>. Elle organise \u00e9galement tous les trimestres une nouvelle exposition th\u00e9matique<\/strong>. Chacune d\u2019entre elles permet de d\u00e9couvrir les superbes photos dont elle dispose. L\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier, nous avions particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 l\u2019exposition Paris 1900, Une Belle \u00c9poque. Et cette ann\u00e9e encore, la Galerie nous a surpris avec une collaboration avec le street artist<\/strong><\/em> 13 bis<\/strong>, \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir jusqu\u2019au 18 juin 2022<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour commander un tirage, il vous suffit de t\u00e9l\u00e9phoner \u00e0 la galerie ou de vous rendre directement sur place. Chaque photographie peut \u00eatre tir\u00e9e au format A4, A3 ou A2<\/strong>, sur papier baryt\u00e9 310 g<\/strong>, auquel vous pourrez ajouter un cadre noir en aluminium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vous pourrez ainsi repartir avec votre tirage d\u2019art<\/strong>, pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00eatre accroch\u00e9 dans votre salon ! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
