The Association pour la Sauvegarde de la Petite Ceinture de Paris et de son R\u00e9seau Ferr\u00e9 (ASPCRF) was set up in December 1992, at a time when the line was still regularly used by rail (freight trains, exchanges of rolling stock between the major Paris stations, discovery trains). The association was created in the context of the closure of a large part of the line, announced at the time for 1993, as part of the discontinuation of freight train services.<\/p>

The Association\u2019s primary objective was, and still is, to defend the continuity of the entire line and to ensure that the right of way is not dismantled and remains part of the National Rail Network.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
