Cette nouvelle ligne de chemin de fer circulaire est longue de 140&nbsp;km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"649\" src=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-CPA.png\" alt class=\"wp-image-6213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-CPA.png 1024w, https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-CPA-300x190.png 300w, https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-CPA-768x487.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La section ouest est ouverte en 1883 et dessert 5 gares, Saint-Cyr Grande Ceinture, Noisy-le Roi, Mareil-Marly, Saint-Germain Grande Ceinture (d\u00e9sormais Lisi\u00e8re Pereire) et Poissy, ainsi que 4 haltes&nbsp;: Bailly, Saint-Nom-la-Bret\u00e8che, L\u2019\u00c9tang-la-Ville et Fourqueux (d\u00e9sormais Fourqueux \u2013 Bel&nbsp;air).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il existe m\u00eame une branche entre Saint-Germain Grande Ceinture et Saint-Germain Etat (actuelle gare du RER A). Un trac\u00e9 proche de celui du tram&nbsp;T13&nbsp;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une ligne avant tout destin\u00e9e au transport de marchandises r\u00e9ouverte aux voyageurs en&nbsp;2004<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Initialement d\u00e9di\u00e9e au transport de marchandises, la Grande Ceinture est finalement emprunt\u00e9e par les voyageurs jusqu\u2019en 1939. Apr\u00e8s cette date, elle revient \u00e0 sa premi\u00e8re activit\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 1991&nbsp;: l\u2019acheminement de marchandises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-2019-JN-Lehec-ASPCRF-4933-1024x682.jpg\" alt class=\"wp-image-6212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-2019-JN-Lehec-ASPCRF-4933-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-2019-JN-Lehec-ASPCRF-4933-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-2019-JN-Lehec-ASPCRF-4933-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Grande-Ceinture-Ouest-2019-JN-Lehec-ASPCRF-4933.jpg 1400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9ouverture aux voyageurs a lieu le 12 d\u00e9cembre 2004&nbsp;: la ligne porte d\u00e9sormais le nom de\u00ab Grande Ceinture Ouest&nbsp;\u00bb. Elle relie Noisy-le-Roi \u00e0 Saint-Germain Grande Ceinture, desservant ainsi 6 communes. Cependant, la fr\u00e9quentation de la ligne \u00e9tant limit\u00e9e, un nouveau projet voit le jour&nbsp;: le tram&nbsp;T13.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le tram T13&nbsp;: un trac\u00e9 pens\u00e9 pour redonner du sens \u00e0 la Grande Ceinture Ouest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les voies ferr\u00e9es de la Grande Ceinture historique et les cinq gares (Noisy-le-Roi, Saint-Nom-la-Bret\u00e8che \u2013 For\u00eat de Marly, Mareil-Marly, Fourqueux \u2013 Bel air et Saint-Germain Grande ceinture) sont r\u00e9habilit\u00e9es pour accueillir le tram. De nouvelles voies sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s pour rejoindre le RER C et les trains N et U \u00e0 Saint-Cyr et le RER A \u00e0 Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
