<strong>1867<\/strong> dans l\u2019un des faubourgs industriels les plus actifs de la capitale.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Ainsi, elle se situe \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 imm\u00e9diate de&nbsp;<strong>l\u2019usine \u00e0 gaz de la Villette<\/strong>. Ouverte en 1856 par la Compagnie Parisienne du Gaz, elle assure l\u2019\u00e9clairage et le chauffage de Paris pendant plus de 50&nbsp;ans.&nbsp;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4f07119 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4f07119\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-b1a0310\" data-id=\"b1a0310\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-83d996f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"83d996f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La gare est donc bord\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019Ouest par les immenses structures m\u00e9talliques des citernes de l\u2019usine \u00e0 gaz, nettement visibles depuis la <strong>rue Curial<\/strong>. \u00c0 l\u2019Est, ce sont les Magasins G\u00e9n\u00e9raux, <strong>les abattoirs de la Villette<\/strong> et le <strong>March\u00e9 aux bestiaux<\/strong> qui enserrent la gare. Elle est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s proche de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/gares-petite-ceinture\/la-chapelle-charbon\/\">la gare de Chapelle-Charbon<\/a>,<\/strong>&nbsp;mais aussi de la <strong>gare d\u2019Aubervilliers<\/strong>, qui sert au triage des wagons en provenance du Nord et de l\u2019Est.<\/p><p>Elle est \u00e9galement bord\u00e9e, c\u00f4t\u00e9 Sud, par le raccordement entre la Petite Ceinture et les voies de la gare de les pouvoirs publics enjoignent au Syndicat de Ceinture d\u2019assurer une correspondance entre la Petite Ceinture et les r\u00e9seaux Nord et Est \u2013 de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que les gares d\u2019Ouest-Ceinture, de Gentilly et d\u2019Orl\u00e9ans-Ceinture assurent respectivement une jonction avec les chemins de fer du PLM, de Sceaux et d\u2019Orl\u00e9ans.<\/p><p>Aussi, deux arr\u00eats, toutes deux baptis\u00e9es <strong>\u00ab&nbsp;Est-Ceinture&nbsp;\u00bb<\/strong>&nbsp;ouvrent le 12 juin 1867 \u2013 soit plus de 2 mois apr\u00e8s l\u2019inauguration de l\u2019Exposition Universelle. La gare ne disposant d\u2019aucune ouverture sur l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur et <strong>reste interdite aux riverains <\/strong>\u2013 d\u2019o\u00f9 son nom de <strong><em>halte<\/em><\/strong> d\u2019Est-Ceinture. Aussi le trafic de cette premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e d\u2019exploitation s\u2019av\u00e8re <strong>d\u00e9risoire<\/strong> et ne d\u00e9passe gu\u00e8re quelques centaines de voyageurs.&nbsp;<\/p><p>En <strong>1869<\/strong>, le Syndicat de Ceinture d\u00e9cide de <strong>renforcer la desserte voyageurs<\/strong> de la Petite Ceinture. Aussi, <strong>4 nouvelles gares sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s<\/strong>, dont la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/gares-petite-ceinture\/pont-de-flandre\/\">gare du Pont-de-Flandre<\/a><\/strong>. Son ouverture, le 26 avril 1869, entra\u00eene m\u00e9caniquement la <strong>fermeture de la halte d\u2019Est-Ceinture<\/strong> et les trains du chemin de fer de Ceinture n\u2019y marquent donc plus l\u2019arr\u00eat. Toutefois, elles se retrouvent perdues au milieu d\u2019un tissu industriel qui s\u2019est encore densifi\u00e9.<\/p><p><strong>La gare est ouverte au public le 15 mai 1878<\/strong>, apr\u00e8s 2 semaines de \u00ab&nbsp;marche \u00e0 blanc&nbsp;\u00bb, o\u00f9 les trains marquaient une halte sans prendre ni d\u00e9poser de passagers. Comme en 1867, la gare est seulement con\u00e7ue pour permettre la correspondance avec les trains de l\u2019Est. Aussi, les \u00e9lus d\u2019Aubervilliers lancent une p\u00e9tition pour la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019acc\u00e8s ext\u00e9rieurs en 1879 et un passage est am\u00e9nag\u00e9 vers la <strong>rue Curial<\/strong>. D\u00e8s lors, elle acquiert le statut de <strong><em>station<\/em><\/strong> <strong>d\u2019Est-Ceinture<\/strong>.&nbsp; En revanche, le Syndicat tra\u00eene des pieds pour la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un acc\u00e8s vers le Nord-Est et la subordonne \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9largissement de la <strong>rue d\u2019Aubervilliers<\/strong>, dont la Ville de Paris vient tout juste d\u2019arr\u00eater le&nbsp;trac\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p><p>La gare en elle-m\u00eame adopte une architecture semblable \u00e0 celle des autres gares de la <strong>Petite Ceinture rive droite<\/strong>. En effet, la Compagnie de l\u2019Est d\u00e9cide d\u2019<strong>\u00e9largir la plateforme de 2 \u00e0 8 voies<\/strong>. Aussi, la gare d\u2019Est-Ceinture est \u00e0 nouveau reconstruite. En revanche, le b\u00e2timent de la halte de la Petite Ceinture reste inchang\u00e9.<\/p><p>Le b\u00e2timent voyageur de la gare est situ\u00e9 sous les voies de l\u2019Est et occupe toute la largeur de la plateforme. Il comporte trois arcades, qui t\u00e9moignent de la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une galerie centrale (sorte de \u00ab&nbsp;salle des pas perdus&nbsp;\u00bb) et de 2 galeries lat\u00e9rales occup\u00e9es par des bureaux.<\/p><p><strong>Trois quais de 200&nbsp;m sont am\u00e9nag\u00e9s<\/strong> en surface, et sont reli\u00e9s \u00e0 la gare souterraine par des escaliers en intervient en deux temps au <strong>d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1930<\/strong>. D\u2019une part, \u00e0 partir de 1932, les trains de la Compagnie de l\u2019Est ne desservent plus la gare d\u2019Est-Ceinture. Aussi, la partie souterraine de la gare d\u2019Est-Ceinture est combl\u00e9e et ses entr\u00e9es condamn\u00e9es par deux murs en b\u00e9ton. De m\u00eame, <strong>les anciens quais sont d\u00e9molis<\/strong>. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mobilisation de notre association, le fronton avec l\u2019inscription \u00ab&nbsp;Est-Ceinture&nbsp;\u00bb est pr\u00e9serv\u00e9. Aussi, le trac\u00e9 du T8 doit imp\u00e9rativement arriver \u00e0 niveau sur le parvis de la gare de Rosa Parks, au Nord ou au Sud. De l\u00e0, le tramway pourrait rejoindre le trac\u00e9 de la Petite Ceinture&nbsp;: en continuant vers l\u2019Est, il offrirait une correspondance tr\u00e8s logique avec la ligne 7 du m\u00e9tro \u00e0 la gare du <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/petiteceinture.org\/gares-petite-ceinture\/pont-de-flandre\/\">Pont de Flandre<\/a><\/strong> (m\u00e9tro Corentin
